Выстрел получился неожиданным не только для игроков на поле, но и для болельщиков обеих команд. Мяч полетел по неудобной траектории, и голкипер «Спартака», как будто просто выпавший из момента, упустил мяч из виду, а после неуклюже попытался отбить его.

Зрители были в восторге от уведенного, однако игроки «Спартака» все же сумели переиграть динамовцев.
Матч закончился со счетом 2:1 в пользу «красно-белых», но после матча все обсуждали не победу «Спартака», а великолепный гол Рыкова.
